Walking For Weight Loss News Issue 1

Hello and welcome to my very first newsletter. I hope you have had some time to check out my new website. All feedback is most welcome. I have some news for you with regard to my alliance with the Apple Tree in Gerrards Cross. I have met with the new Manager and had conversations with the Area Manager and they have both agreed to go ahead with the Low GI menu starting next Monday evening (15th June). I will be going in at Monday lunchtime to have a tasting menu and I hope to report that all is now well. For those of you who have been to the restaurant and had a less than good experience, the explanation is simple. The captain of the ship was running his own show and his staff were left out in the cold. I think you will find that with the new Manager, she has the team behind her. Please do let me know if you do decide to go, how you rated your visit. The current menu will run till mid-July and thereafter a new menu will be put in place. If you have any requests, please let me know and I'll see what I can do. I have some new recipes which I think you'll like so I'll be sending those out with my next newsletter. In the meantime, if you are getting bored with what you're eating, please do let me know and I'll be happy to give you some new recipe ideas. My tip for this month is to use a smaller plate at mealtimes, particularly if you are inclined to be a little generous with your portions. Keep walking. Sarah
